Shire of Nannup
The Shire of Nannup is nestled in the heart of the Blackwood Valley. Historically Nannup was a timber milling town, and while timber is still a major industry, the area's natural beauty, together with its unique character and heritage makes it a popular tourist drawcard.
Nannup is part of the outstanding Balingup-Nannup-Bridgetown tourist drive, one of the very best in the State. Coastal access, national parks and its close proximity to the Margaret River wine region bring many tourists to the area.
The shire also has a strong agricultural sector with dairy, beef cattle, horticulture, floriculture and viticulture operations in the area.
