Disability Access and Inclusion

The South West Development Commission is committed to ensuring that all people, their families and carers are able to fully access the range of services and facilities of the Commission.

We are also committed to ensuring that all people are given the opportunity to participate in shaping the development of their community through consultative processes with local business, industry and government.

We recognise that all people are valued members of the community who make a variety of contributions to community, economic and cultural life.

Disability Access and Inclusion Plan

The South West Development Commission falls under the umbrella of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2018-23.

The plan was developed in consultation with the DAIP Working Group, Department of Communities, Regional Development Commissions, peak bodies and people with disability, and the DPIRD communications branch.

The plan underpins a commitment to ensuring the Commission's information, services and facilities are inclusive and accessible for all people.
