Regional Development Minister Stephen Dawson today announced three new Board members will join reappointed Chair Danny Griffin on the Board of the South West Development Commission.
Kendall Galbraith, Anita Lindemann, and Mikayla Love have been named as the new Board members, each for a three-year term, alongside Danny Griffin who has been reappointed as Chair.
Ms Lindemann joins the Board as a Local Government Representative from the Shire of Donnybrook Balingup. Ms Lindemann has served as a councillor at the Shire for six years and has owned and operated small businesses in the region, offering both local government experience and strong regional knowledge.
Ms Love, who has also been appointed as Local Government Representative, has been a councillor at the City of Busselton since 2021. Ms Love brings a background in marketing, tourism, small business, and community engagement.
Ms Galbraith, who lives in Margaret River, has been appointed as a Community Representative. As CEO of the RRR Network, Ms Galbraith has experience in regional development, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement.
In appointing the new members to the SWDC Board, Minister Dawson acknowledged and thanked the outgoing Board members for their service, including Deputy Chair Catrin Pickworth, Julia Jean-Rice, Stan Liaros, and Tresslyn Smith.
