Halifax Upgrades
For businesses to thrive, they need the right environment. With our help, growth opportunities have been unlocked at Halifax Business Park.
Bunbury’s premier business park has been made into an even more attractive option for businesses through a $3 million infrastructure upgrade funded by the State Government.
The multi–million–dollar initiative has created the environment for economic growth and investment by improving security, safety, access and infrastructure. In carrying out these upgrades, the aim is to retain and attract new businesses, helping to support employment opportunities for local residents.
Enhancements include the installation of CCTV and additional lighting at strategic locations within the precinct, improving the road network by installing a slip lane, and sewerage works.
To build the case for funding for the project, we worked with local businesses and organisations such as the City of Bunbury and Bunbury Geographe Chamber of Commerce and Industry to identify the areas that could be addressed to facilitate growth.
Making use of local contractors has also been important, with various businesses awarded contracts to assist in the delivery of project components.
